Acrylic Coated Fabric:
MATERIAL: This fabric is made of 100% high quality cotton with a soft wipe clean acrylic matte satin finish.
Two layers of acrylic are bonded to the natural cotton fibers. Our Acrylic Coated Cotton Tablecloths have a nice soft drape all around,
they are not stiff like the old traditional heavy oilcloths or vinyl, and they are not shiny like plastic. The coating is soft and supple, you can only feel by touching but still looks like regular cotton.
* As any other fabric, the fabric and coating will get softer and softer as you start using your tablecloth.
* The acrylic finish makes the fabric STAIN RESISTANT (not stain-proof) to food and drinks only - even wine!
Even though this is a high-quality coated material, it is still fabric (not plastic) so it is recommended to wipe off any spills as soon as possible. If bright color spills (specially liquids: turmeric, curry, beet, tomato sauce, ketchup, salsa, soy sauce, coffee, black tea, etc.) are left too long it might stain the Acrylic. Some of them are actually used to make dye or food colorant.
* This fabric is not UV proof, but the acrylic coating will definitely slow down the fading process. This fabric can be used outside, but it is not recommend leaving outside (overnight) without protection for an extended period of time, especially on rainy days. It can cause mold underneath. The humidity/rain in combination with sun is very damaging to fabrics, carpet, furniture and everything.
Nothing is fading, mold or mildew proof - not even our roof! :)
* This fabric is 100% NON-TOXIC (no bad chemicals are used): PVC, BPA, Lead and Phthalates FREE. They are totally safe for your health and the environment - Safe to use with children under 12 :)
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
It is so easy to care for, no washing is really necessary:
